A piece of original art from an artist's portfolio. This piece isn't dated or signed but a lot of the other pieces in the portfolio were signed Rene and dated in the 1950s so I assume this piece is by the same person.
This specific piece is up for interpretation. I'm actually not even sure which side is up/down or if it's supposed to be horizontal/vertical! At first I thought it might be hands but the more I looked at it, the more I wasn't sure. I'll let you be the judge! It is a mixed media piece with what appears to be black paint and coloured pencils.
The paper is very thick and this piece could be framed or displayed with a clip hanging from a wall.
