This specific piece is a picture made entirely from wood in a style that is called marquetry. This involves cutting and arranging intricately shaped pieces of wood in a pattern to create an image. This scene features a small town, a river, boat, bridge, and a church. The entire piece is made from wood and the frame is wood as well. There is no glass.
Marquetry takes a lot of time and work to make and pieces are priced higher online.
There is a metal loop hanger on the back.

LOCAL DELIVERY ~ $5.00 local delivery is available to Hamilton residents ($15 minimum purchase) and also available for $5.00 to residents of Ancaster, Burlington, Dundas, and Stoney Creek ($20.00 minimum purchase). When you check-out, select SHIP, and if you meet the minimum purchase requirement, you will be able to select local delivery instead of shipping. If you don't meet the minimum purchase requirement, you won't be able to check out and select delivery.
