Measurements: 28.25” by 16” and 24” tall
I tried to research this furniture company online and couldn’t find out much information about it. The only thing I could find was a newspaper article which mentioned the company by name in 1891. The article was about electric lights and electricity coming to the town of Wingham and mentioned that Gilchrist, Green & Co. had electric lights installed in 1891. This is the only reference I could find and it was just in passing.
Based on the look and age of the cabinet and the paper label on the back, it is definitely an antique but I can’t date it exactly. My guess is that the cabinet was made in the late 1800s, likely in the 1880 to 1900 time period.
The drawer and the doors open and close easily. There is a latch inside the cabinet on the floor and a hook on the base of the right cabinet door interior but I’m not sure how that would work to latch.
There is a split in the wood in the drawer in the back right corner and the hinge is a little loose on the right cabinet door at the top. Neither impact use or opening and closing but I am pointing them out. These could both be easily be fixed with some wood glue if desired.

Minimum purchases are also necessary, based on postal code location. When you check-out, select SHIP, and if you meet the minimum purchase requirement, you will be able to select local delivery instead of shipping.
