This would make a great piece of decor hanging in a collector's cabinet or room or you could use it to wear for military reenactments.

8 LAA RCA stands for 8th Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery. This was a unit of the Canadian army that actively served during WW2 overseas.

In very good condition considering its age. There are a few small holes in the wool here and there but they are very tiny spots and generally in good shape.

Please note that I usually wash clothing when I sell it but in the interest of preserving this historical piece I decided to leave it unwashed as I didn't want to ruin it and wasn't sure the best way of cleaning it. It is in clean condition, though, and doesn't have any odour.

Stamped on the inner lining: Battle Dress Blouse, Serge / Size 6 / Height 5'5" - 5'6" / Breast 38-39 / Hyde Park Clothes Limited Montreal 1943

There is also stamped below a symbol which is the C-Broad Arrow mark which was used throughout WW1 and WW2 to show that military materials were government property, belonging to the crown.

PICKUP is available in TWO Locations:

  1. Hamilton (Gage Park neighbourhood)
  2. Niagara Falls (6289 Huggins St. at The Vintage Venture) - We need to physically bring orders with us when we visit our booth. Wait time is 1-2 weeks for this option. Please reach out if you have any questions.

LOCAL DELIVERY is available for Hamilton, Burlington, Dundas, Ancaster, and Stoney Creek residents. The delivery price starts at $7.00 and increases based on your postal code location. Minimum purchases are also necessary, based on postal code location. When you check-out, select SHIP, and if you meet the minimum purchase requirement, you will be able to select local delivery instead of shipping. If you don't meet the minimum purchase requirement, you won't be able to select delivery.
