This piece is so charming and I love it as a centrepiece, as a fruit or bread bowl, as a planter, a catchall, or just to display on its own.
Based on the look, weight, and feel of this bowl and my experience with ironstone pieces, I'm pretty sure this is ironstone even though it isn't actually stamped as such. When I searched this bowl online I found similar looking pieces that were called ironstone and I also know that not all ironstone is stamped as such. I also know that Baker & Co. made a lot of ironstone pieces so assume this is one of them that just wasn't stamped as ironstone.
I couldn't find this exact stamp with this exact pattern (Alejandro) online but from my research, it looks like this bowl was made between 1893 (when they added Ltd. to the stamp) and 1932 (when the company closed down). However, based on my research of the stamps it is likely this piece came from before 1928.
Note: There is a chip on one side which is mainly visible from the underside but is still there and needs mentioning. It could face to the back and due to the age, wear can be expected. I think chipped and crazed ironstone can add to its charm however the price is reflective. See photos.
Similar bowls sell for well over $100 CDN online, even with chips, staining, and heavy crazing.

LOCAL DELIVERY is available for Hamilton, Burlington, Dundas, Ancaster, and Stoney Creek residents. The delivery price starts at $7.00 and increases based on your postal code location. Minimum purchases are also necessary, based on postal code location. When you check-out, select SHIP, and if you meet the minimum purchase requirement, you will be able to select local delivery instead of shipping. If you don't meet the minimum purchase requirement, you won't be able to select delivery.
