A very nice pair of lanterns by An Qing China. They are embossed with flying birds around the centre and I think it gives them such a charming touch!

The lanterns would need fuel to burn but they do each have a wick. I haven't tested them but you can see each wick end is burned so I assume everything is in working order and you just need to add fuel to light the lanterns. You can light them or just keep them as decor as-is!

Originally they would have had a lantern shade over the top but you can still burn them as they are or you could add new shades. I would personally keep them just as they are and light them to create a cozy ambience in the evening.
