The people I purchased this from told me that it was an antique but I don't think it is. However, I could be wrong. I just don't think it's over 100 years old but it is old and vintage, for sure. They told me that they used it as porch decor to hang a wreath from and I think that's a great idea so have styled it the same way.
The sled is wood and the runners and the hardware are metal, perhaps steel or iron? Please note the rustic condition. I have added some extra nails into the base as the wood is very weathered and was starting to break away just at the feet/bottom, but it is sturdy enough for decor (not for riding!). There is a thick, white rope that is included but not attached. This was originally loosely tied to the sled as a handle but I removed it and thought the sled looked better without. However, I have included it in case the customer wants to tie it on again.
38" by 21" and 8" tall when laying flat on the ground.

PICKUP is available in TWO Locations:
- Hamilton (Gage Park neighbourhood)
- Niagara Falls (6289 Huggins St. at The Vintage Venture) - We need to physically bring orders with us when we visit our booth. Wait time is 1-2 weeks for this option. Please reach out if you have any questions.

LOCAL DELIVERY is available for Hamilton, Burlington, Dundas, Ancaster, and Stoney Creek residents. The delivery price starts at $7.00 and increases based on your postal code location. Minimum purchases are also necessary, based on postal code location. When you check-out, select SHIP, and if you meet the minimum purchase requirement, you will be able to select local delivery instead of shipping. If you don't meet the minimum purchase requirement, you won't be able to select delivery.
